Completing an internship abroad is not only an opportunity for students to improve their English level but is also an opportunity for them to get a very positive personal experience by discovering other cultures and other scientific issues, by developing open-mindedness, adaptability and curiosity...

Support to find the host laboratory
Estbb provides significant support in finding these internships: through a network of laboratories and partner companies around the world, it publishes a significant number of internships offers abroad each year. Estbb also helps students to find local accommodation and assists them with scholarship and visa applications.
Getting ready for departure
To help ensure the success of your stay, each year Estbb organizes an experience-sharing meeting between students who have already travelled and students who are preparing to leave. This provides an opportunity to discuss about topics such as:
• key advice on visas, transportation, housing, insurance, etc., summarized in a brochure;
• financial aspects: average cost of travel and housing by destination, scholarship amounts, etc.
The Estbb International Relations Office supports each student in their application process for scholarships (Erasmus + scholarship, Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region International Mobility scholarship, OFAJ scholarship)
Students preparing for departure also attend a 2-day Intercultural Communication course: “Communicating despite our cultural differences”, “Welcoming the culture of the host country without being judgmental”, “Preparing for the culture shock of the first few weeks”, etc.
Possible destinations
Many destinations: Australia, Canada, Great Britain, USA, ... but also India, China, New Zealand, Sweden, Norway...
