How to apply ?

1. YOU ARE A EUROPEAN STUDENT

To apply in the first year of a training

European students wishing to join estbb in the 1st year of a training must apply on the “Parcoursup” platform.

This application process is mandatory to apply.

To apply in the 2nd or 3rd year of a training

There is no specific procedure for enrolling in the 2nd or 3rd year of a Bachelor's or our Engineering program. It is not necessary to obtain a visa. You must directly contact ESTBB to request enrolment : estbb@univ-catholyon.fr

2. YOU ARE NON EUROPEAN LIVING IN EUROPE

To apply in the first year of a training

Students who reside in Europe but do not have the nationality of a European country and who wish to enrol in estbb in the first year of training at “Licence” (Bachelor's) level must file a "Demande d'Admission Préalable - DAP" preliminary request for admission.

It must be filed between October and December preceding the academic year in which they wish to begin studying in estbb. Applications (white file) must be sent to the department of cooperation and cultural action at the French Embassy in the applicant's country of residence.

This application process is mandatory to apply.

To apply in the 2nd or 3rd year of a training

There is no specific procedure for enrolling in the 2nd or 3rd year of a Bachelor's or our Engineering program. It is not necessary to obtain a visa. You must directly contact estbb to request enrolment : estbb@univ-catholyon.fr

3. YOU RESIDE IN A COUNTRY AFFECTED BY THE "ETUDES EN FRANCE" PROCEDURE

To apply in the first year of a training

If you live in one of the following countries, the "Etudes en France " procedure is mandatory to enroll in estbb :

Algeria, Argentina, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Benin, Bolivia, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Canada, Chad, Chile, China, Colombia, Comoros, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia, Gabon, Georgia, Ghana, Guinea, Haiti, Hong-KongIndia, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Ivory Coast, Japan, Jordan, Kenya, Kuwait, Lebanon, Madagascar, Malaysia, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mexico, Morocco, Nepal, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Togo, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Vietnam.

The procedure is conducted online, from the enrollment request to obtaining a visa.

If you are living in a country affected by the “Etudes en France" procedure and have the nationality of the country in which you are living (for instance, if you are living in Morocco and have the Moroccan nationality) :

  • If you are preparing a French or European Baccalauréat/A-levels you must enter your academic choices on the “Parcoursup” platform and follow the steps of the "Etudes en France" process
  • If you are preparing another degree course (granting access to higher education), you must make a "Demande d'Admission Préalable - DAP (Preliminary Admission Request) and follow the “Etudes en France” procedure. You can make the DAP online on the “Etudes en France”.

To apply in the 2nd or 3rd year of a training

Please note that it is not possible for you to enroll in the 2nd or 3rd year of Bachelor’s at estbb.

You can only apply in the first year of a training at Bachelor’s.

4. YOU ARE NOT EUROPEAN OR LIVING IN A COUNTRY AFFECTED BY THE "ETUDES EN FRANCE" PROCEDURE

To apply in the first year of a training

If you are not European and you do not reside in one of the countries affected by the "Etudes en France" procedure, you must follow the "Demande d'Admission Préalable - DAP" (Preliminary request for admission) procedure to continue your studies in estbb from the first year of training at “Licence” (Bachelor's) degree course.

Applications must be sent to the department of cooperation and cultural action at the French Embassy in your country of residence. The white files concern enrolment in first-year university, and the green files are for international students already living in France.

To apply in the 2nd or 3rd year of a training

There is no specific procedure for enrolling in the 2nd or 3rd year of a Bachelor's. You must directly contact estbb to request enrolment : estbb@univ-catholyon.fr
