The ESTBB International Relations Office is organizing a conference with Professor Teresa Gagliano from the University of Udine (Italy).
Entitled “Identification and characterization of kinases involved in tumor biology” this conference will focus on the identification and characterization of kinases involved in tumor biology, highlighting their role in cancer progression and their potential implications for the development of new therapies.
Associate professor at the University of Udine, Teresa Gagliano specializes in cancer cell biology, particularly neuroendocrine tumors and the tumor microenvironment. She leads the Gagliano Lab, which combines basic and translational research to explore models such as primary cultures and organoids.
The first part of the conference will be moderated by Professor Philip Lawrence, who will talk about the work currently being carried out within the Biotechnologies, Health, Ethics Research group (group 7) at UCLy.
